Cherlyn's Notes So...do you think that Spring is finally on it's way?! After some crazy weather (snow on April 1st in Washington?!), we've finally got some sunshine! Sweet. My sixth grade son, Christian, and I actually got the garden planted, and the berry bushes are next. I sure hope you are also able to spend some moments outside, rejuvinating and re-energizing! Speaking of re-energizing, I've got some opportunities you'll have to do just that, with me, in the next months! First, if you're a violinist or violist of any age, I'll be teaching some special workshops on Improvisation for Worship this summer in Washington and Oregon. I'll also be offering a Chamber Ensemble experience in July and August (one will be in Washington, the other a more intimate gathering at the Oregon Coast.) Secondly, I have a rare opportunity for several new students to study privately with me, as I have a few of my top violin students graduating and going off to college and schools of music. Finally, later this summer, I look forward to ministering in several locations with some special friends/artists who will be flying in from New York and California.
